Fenugreek has immense health benefits. It's salad is good in taste. Fenugreek seeds are quite different in taste from fenugreek leaves. This recipe used both sprouted fenugreek and fenugreek leaves.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Sprouted fenugreek seeds 1 cup
  2. Finely chopped fenugreek leaves 1 cup
  3. Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  4. Salt 1/2 tsp
  5. Lemon juice 2 tsp
  6. Masala ingredients to taste...
  7. Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  8. Red chilli powder a pinch
  9. Cumin seeds powder 1/4 tsp
  10. Coriander seeds powder a pinch
  11. Cinnamon powder a pinch
  12. Clove powder a pinch


  1. Soak fenugreek seeds 5-6 hours, then tying up the drained seeds in a muslin cloth to get the fresh sprouts at the end of third day.
  2. Finely chop the fenugreek leaves and grate the fresh coconut, keep ready all the ingredients.
  3. Add these ingredients into a bowl.
  4. Squeeze the lemon, add salt, masala ingredients and toss well until they are well seasoned.
  5. Serve in fresh.
