ABOUT Sago Kheer RECIPE

Kheer is always special recipe. Sago is good for body heat, it reduce body heat, In Pregnancy time for ladies, and Summer time is good for Elder's and kids to enjoy eating sago. Tasty and healthy for all age.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Sago/ javvarisi/ sabudana - 1/4 cup
  2. Sugar - 2 tap (add more too)
  3. Water - 1 1/4 cup
  4. Milk 1 cup
  5. Cardamom 1
  6. Ghee 1 tsp
  7. Cashews nut 6
  8. Salt pinch(for taste)

Instructions

  1. Heat a small pressure cooker with ghee, roast cashews and powder).
  2. In the same ghee, add sago and roast in low or medium flame for 2-3 minutes until you see the sago popping here and there
  3. Add water carefully and salt. Pressure cook for 6 whistles in medium flame. Once pressure is released, open and give 2 minutes standing time.
  4. Stir in sugar, bring to boil.
  5. Add milk and boil for 2 minutes. If kids like add more condensed milk for taste.
  6. Garnish with cardamom powder and roasted cashews.
