Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. White or Brown Rice – 200gm
  2. Wheat – 200gm
  3. Ragi – 200gm
  4. Jowar – 200gm
  5. Roasted Gram – 200gm
  6. Green gram – 200gm
  7. Black gram – 200gm
  8. Corn – 200gm
  9. Sago or Sabudhna – 200gm
  10. Groundnuts – 200gm
  11. Chickpeas – 200gm
  12. Horse Gram – 100gm
  13. Cowpeas – 100gm
  14. Omam or Ajwain – 10gm
  15. Dry Ginger – 10gm
  16. Badam [almonds] – 100gm

Instructions

  1. Rinse all the ingredients separately to remove debris or stones.
  2. Soak them in water overnight or atleast 8 hours.
  3. Drain and rinse all the grains separately.
  4. The grains can be tied in a soft cotton cloth like below and place the individual bundles in a tray in a dry place.
  5. After 8 to 10 hours you can see small sprouts from the grains. If you want longer sprouts they can be left for a longer period.
  6. Dry the Sprouted ingredients in sun for a day.
  7. After drying the sprouted grains, each should be dry roasted well separately.
  8. The other ingredients like dry fruits, sago, fried gram, Ajwain to be dry roasted individually. The other ingredients like dry fruits, sago, fried gram, Ajwain to be dry roasted individually.
  9. Cool all the ingredients.
  10. Make the powder by grinding them and feed your baby
