ABOUT Oats sago phirni RECIPE

A quick delicious finger licking dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oats - half cup
  2. cooked sago - half cup
  3. boiled milk - 500 ml
  4. sugar - 5 tbsp
  5. ghee - 1 tbsp
  6. cashew nuts and raisins - few
  7. cardamom - 4
  8. salt - pinch

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a vessel roast cashews and raisins,drain and keep aside.
  2. Add cardamom and oats stir fry for a minute.
  3. Pour milk and mix well. When it starts boiling add cooked sago.
  4. Add sugar to taste and pinch salt.
  5. Low the flame, cook for two minutes.Adjust the consistency by adding hot water.
  6. Garnish with cashews and raisins.
  7. Ready ! Serve this as dessert or for the breakfast with a slices of toasted bread.
