ABOUT Multi grain baked nachos with fish salsa RECIPE

This dish is suitable eating both for elderly and pregnant ladies. As fish is steamed and nachos are baked its light on stomach and easily digestible

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For nachos
  2. 4 tbsp maize flour sieved husk removed
  3. 4 tbsp bajra flour sieves and husk removed
  4. 4 tbsp all.purpose flour ( maida)
  5. Salt and pepper to taste
  6. 1 tsp garlic powder
  7. 4 tbsp grated processed cheese
  8. 1 tbsp mixed herbs
  9. 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  10. For fish salsa
  11. 250 gms of any fish fillet
  12. 1 tbsp English mustard or kasundi
  13. 10 Garlic cloves
  14. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  15. 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  16. Salt and pepper to taste
  17. 1/2 cup chopped onions
  18. 1/2 cup deseeded tomatoes
  19. 1/2 cup chopped corainder leaves
  20. 1 red radish finely chopped
  21. 1 lemon Juice
  22. 2 tbsp mustard sauce
  23. 1 tbsp mustard oil
  24. For garnishing
  25. Chopped coriander leaves
  26. Mustard mayo (mayo.and mustard mixed in equal proportion)

Instructions

  1. Marinate fish with mustard sauce,lemon juice salt and pepper for 15 -20 mins
  2. After 20 mins steam fish with garlic cloves after wrapping in foil
  3. Steam for 12-15 mins
  4. For nachos Mix all the ingredients in a bowl
  5. Add warm water and knead .
  6. Let it rest for 20 mins
  7. After 15 mins roll the dough
  8. Prick with fork and cut in triangular pieces
  9. Bake in a.preateted oven at 200 degree for 15 mins till it is crisp
  10. Chop onion, tomatoes, radish, green chilli and coriander leaves
  11. Chop steamed fish and garlic cloves
  12. Mix with chopped.onion , radish, tomatoes, coriander leaves, green.chilli
  13. Add lemon juice salt and.pepper , tomato sauce to chopped fish and mix lightly
  14. For plating On a serving plattet drizzle some mustard mayo
  15. Then place mukti grain nachos chips
  16. Top it with prepared fish salsa
  17. Drizzle some more mustard mayo
