ABOUT Tandoori Onion Kulcha RECIPE

The punjabi kulchas are very famous and delicious to eat, follow this easy recipe to make these at home for your loved ones, you can serve these with some spicy curry on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup Flour(Maida)
  2. 2 cup curd
  3. Salt
  4. 1 tbsp kasoori methi
  5. For stuffing :
  6. 4 chopped onion
  7. 2 green chillies
  8. Salt
  9. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  10. Green coriander [handful]
  11. Butter [as required]

Instructions

  1. Knead a soft dough using flour, curd, salt and kasoori methi.
  2. Rest it for 2hrs
  3. Finely chop the onions. Add salt , green chillies, coriander leaves and cumin seeds.
  4. Now divide the kulcha dough into equal sized roundels, stuff each of them with the onion filling.
  5. Now roll them and roast them in a tandoor or grill them in an oven.
  6. Serve with butter smeared generously on top.
