ABOUT Namkeen Vegie Vermicilly. RECIPE

This is a typical south Indian breakfast made with roasted vermicelli, light, and easy to prepare.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 pack roasted Vermicelli
  2. 1 chopped onion
  3. 1 chopped carrot
  4. Salt
  5. 1/4th tsp mustard.seeds
  6. 10 curry leaves
  7. 2 green chilly
  8. 4 tsp oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  3. Add onion, carrots and capsicum.
  4. Saute it
  5. Add salt and green chillies.
  6. Add the vermicelli and mix in with the masala.
  7. Add double the quantity of water to the amount of vermicelli added.
  8. Cook on simmer till done. serve hot.
