ABOUT Curd bread RECIPE

A snack made with bread, coated with spices, curd and sauteed along with onion, a perfect snack for all times.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 bread slices
  2. 1/2 cup hung curd
  3. Haldi powder [turmeric powder] - 1/4 th tsp
  4. Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  5. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  6. Hing [asafoetida] - 1/4 th tsp
  7. Sliced onion - 1
  8. 4 curry leaves
  9. 2 tsp oil

Instructions

  1. Combine the curd with all the spices
  2. Chop the bread into cubes and add them into the above.
  3. Coat the bread cubes with the curd mix, well.
  4. Heat nonstick tawa with little oil.
  5. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle ,add hing, curry leaves.
  6. Add onion and cook till they turn golden
  7. Add bread mixture and cook for two to three minutes
  8. Serve hot
