Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Urad dal 1/2 cup
  2. Raw rice 1 cup
  3. Salt as required
  4. Ghee as required
  5. Water as required
  6. Onion 1
  7. Carrot 2
  8. Poha 3 tsp
  9. Green chilli 2
  10. Coriander leaves as required

Instructions

  1. Soak rice,poha and dal overnight or 6-7 hrs
  2. Grind it separately by using little amount of water.
  3. Mix both batter.cover and ferment in a warm place for 8- 12 hours.
  4. Now it's ready to use.In batter add salt, chopped carrot (one),baking soda.
  5. In tawa apply ghee pour batter.now add chopped onion,grated carrot,coriander leaves on top of the batter.cook both sides by adding little Ghee or oil.
  6. Healthy uttappam is ready to serve
