ABOUT 4 minutes dhokla in a microwave RECIPE

Dhoklas are the traditional Gujrati breakfast which are very healthy so here is a way to make them in few minutes, using a microwave oven.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gramflour 1 cup
  2. Green chilli 4 chopped
  3. Coriander leaves a handfull
  4. Oil 2tsp
  5. mustard seeds 1 tsp
  6. Sugar 1 tsp
  7. Lemon juice 1/2 lemon
  8. Curry leaves 6-8


  1. Prepare batter of gramflour,baking soda, citric acid crystals,salt and water like idli batter.
  2. Pour it in microwave safe bowl after greasing it
  3. Now microwave it on high power for 4 minutes
  4. Cut it in dhokla shape with the help of a knife
  5. Prepare the tempering by heating oil
  6. Crackle mustard seeds add curry leaves green chilli sugar,lemon juice and little water
  7. Let it cook for a minute
  8. Pour the tempering over the dhokla
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves
