ABOUT Simple Egg Masala !! RECIPE

A healthy quick recipe that goes well with any Indian bread or Rice dal preparation...

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled Eggs - 6 nos
  2. Onion - 4 big finely chopped
  3. Tomatoes - 2 to 3 finely chopped
  4. Green chilly - 2 nos finely chopped
  5. Ginger and garlic crushed & finely chopped - 1 tbspn
  6. Turmeric pwdr - half tspn
  7. Black pepper pwdr - half tspn ( freshly ground preferred) - adjust to taste
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Coriander leaves for garnish
  10. Oil - 1 & half tbspn
  11. Mustard seeds - 1tspn

Instructions

  1. Take a vessel and boil the eggs.When done let it to cool down .Later peel them and keep it aside.
  2. Take a kadai put oil & when hot add mustard seeds... and after it splutters put chopped onions & saute well....
  3. Add the chopped green chilly , ginger & garlic.Cook till the raw smell goes away.
  4. Now add the turmeric powder and black pepper powder.
  5. Add tomatoes and cook till soft....Add salt to taste....Mix well...
  6. When the onion tomato mixture gets cooked turn off the gas
  7. Put the chopped corriander leaves and give a nice stir...
  8. Then cut and add the boiled eggs to this mixture....Gently mix them together...or take the mixture and put over the boiled eggs and serve with rotis or rice....
  9. Note here - No masalas are added....if you like you can add little garam masala or kitchen king masala....
  10. Egg masala served with Roti and dal, salad & pickle
