Oats carrot loaf to serve for breakfast or dinner for my family

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup plan oats
  2. 1 cup semolina
  3. 1 cup curd
  4. 1 tbsp ginger garlic and green chilli paste
  5. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  7. salt as required
  8. 1/4 cup grated carrots
  9. water as required
  10. 1 tbsp oil
  11. 1 tsp fruit salt
  12. Ingredients for tadka
  13. 2 tbsp oil
  14. 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  15. 4-5 curry leaves
  16. 2 chopped green chilli
  17. pinch of asafoetida

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add oats, semolina, curd and water mix well and batter rest for 30 minutes
  2. After 30 minutes add grated carrots, ginger, garlic and green chilies, red chilli powder and turmeric powder mix well
  3. Add water , salt and oil mix well
  4. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds when they begin to crackle add chopped green chilli and curry leaves stir it and cook few seconds add asafoetida mix well
  5. 1 tbsp tadka add to batter and mix well
  6. Add fruit salt and batter mix well
  7. Grease the container and pour the batter
  8. Sprinkle red chilli powder
  9. Pour the tadka over the batter
  10. Preheated oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes
