ABOUT Cole slaw RECIPE

Vegan coleslaw has an extremely lowglycemic index (cabbage 10) and glycemic load (cabbage 0.58) and is rich in fiber.[9]

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cabbage 200gm
  2. Carrot 25gm
  3. Onion 25gm
  4. Capsicum 10gm
  5. Vinegar or lime juice 10ml
  6. Oil30ml
  7. Salt, white paper powder. To taste
  8. Mustard padte (opt) to taste
  9. Salad leaves3-4

Instructions

  1. Shred cabbage finely. Cut carrots, onion and capsicum into juliennes. Immerse all these into ice cold water for 20to 30minutes.
  2. Prepare dressing with vineger or lime juice, salt pepper powder, oil and mustard.
  3. Drain and dry vegetables in a duster.
  4. Mix dressing and serve immediately on a bed of salad leaves.
