Ingredients to make Hyderabadi Mutton Shorba....

  • Mutton bone-in 500 gm
  • ginger garlic paste
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • red chilli powder 1tbsp
  • onions thinly sliced 2
  • curry leaves 1/4th cup
  • Cubeb seeds crushed coarsely 1 tsp
  • oil 3 tbsp
  • cinnamon stick 1
  • cardamom pods 3
  • cloves 4-5
  • Garam masala 1 tsp (for garnishing)

How to make Hyderabadi Mutton Shorba....

  1. Heat oil in a cooker.
  2. Add cinnamon stick, cloves and cardamom pods.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste now.
  4. Saute all for a minute.
  5. Saute onions now until translucent.
  6. Now add mutton bone-in and all the spices.
  7. Add curry leaves too.
  8. Pressure cook it with water as needed. Do not add much water.
  9. After the pressure settles down, open the lid and simmer on low heat.
  10. Garnish with garam masala.
  11. Serve hot with rotis or naans.
