Ingredients to make coconut bread pakoda

  • 9-10potatoes .boiled
  • 1 whole fresh coconut
  • 6-7 green chilli
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 4-5 garlic cloves /leaves
  • 1/2 tsp jeera powder
  • salt to taste
  • 10-12 bread slices
  • 1 Cup water
  • oil for Deep frying

How to make coconut bread pakoda

  1. Grind fresh coconut,green chilli,garlic and coriander leaves in mixer jar
  2. add 1/2 tsp salt to grated coconut mixture
  3. Mash the boil potatoes and then add jeera powder and 1/2 tsp salt or more according to the taste
  4. Now make a small roti of mashed potatoes and add 1 tsp of coconut mixture as filling and close it to make a smal ball
  5. cut the sides of bread and dip into the water
  6. squeeze water from the bread
  7. now wrap the potatoe coconut ball with the wet bread
  8. give the shape of the ball
  9. heat the pan, add oil for deep frying .Add bread coconut pakoda in pan and fry at medium flame till it become brown
  10. serve it with sauce or coriander chutney
