ABOUT Tamatar ki chutney RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Red tomatoes 0.5 kg
  2. 250g sugar
  3. 2 spoon mustard oil
  4. Panchforan (methidaana, saunf, rai, zeera, kalonji)
  5. 1/2 tspn Turmeric Powder
  6. Salt 1/4 spn
  7. 1 tspn red chilli powder
  8. 2 spoon raisins
  9. 1 spoon grated ginger
  10. 2 finely chopped green chillies

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. After the oil is hot, put panchforan. Add ginger and green chillies.
  2. Put chopped tomatoes and stir. Put turmeric, salt, red chilli powder and raisins. Cover with lid and cook for 5 mins on low flame.
  3. After 5 minutes, remove the lid. Put sugar and cook till it thickens.
  4. Turn off the gas. Tamatar ki chutney is ready.
