Ingredients to make Aloo pyaz kachori

  • atta dough 1 cup
  • Boiled aloo [potato] 1
  • onion chopped - 1/2 cup
  • oil
  • hing [asafoetida] pinch
  • Sabut dhaniya [coriander seeds] 1 tsp
  • Saunf [fennel seeds] half tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Amchur [dry mango powder] 1 tsp
  • Red mirchi [chilly] powder 1 tsp
  • Green chilli 2 [chopped]
  • Haldi [turmeric powder] a pinch
  • Dhaniya powder [coriander powder] half tsp

How to make Aloo pyaz kachori

  1. Make a dough with salt and water, let this rest while we make the filling.
  2. Boil the potatoes, pee and mash them. Keep aside. Heat some oil in a kadhai, add Hing , dhaniya seeds, and fennel seeds. Saute for a minute.
  3. Add green chillies, onion and saute till the onions are pink. Add salt, haldi ,Mirchi, amchur, mix well and then add the mashed potatoes.
  4. Switch off the gas, and cool the mixture. Make balls of dough In each balls stuff the filling , seal and slightly flatten them.
  5. Deep fry in hot oil on slow flame till they are golden brown. Serve hot with sauce & tea

My Tip:

Can add coriander leaves, can be served with green chutni,, with toppings of dahi n sev
