Ingredients to make Shengole

  • 1 bowl wheat floure
  • 1/2 bowl jawar floure
  • 1/4 bowl gram floure
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 4 tbsp zinger garlic pest
  • 1 tbsp.cumin seed
  • 2tbsp chilli powder
  • Ajvain 1/2 tbsp
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • mustard 1 tbsp
  • salt
  • olive oil 4 spoon
  • Goda masala 1 tbsp
  • coriander leaves 2 spoon

How to make Shengole

  1. All floure take together in one dish .add salt ,ajwain ,zinger garlic pest 1 tbsp ,tuemeric powder ,chilli powder ,1 tbsp oil ,mix all well .
  2. Add water slowly ,and kned a dough . u should be careful about that ,let it be thick only.
  3. Add lots of coriander. Add a little water at a time and knead thick dough.Don’t make the dough too thin.then cover it and rest for 10 minute.
  4. After 10 minute . take a one small ball of dough and roll it into shengoli .Fold in the centre and seal both the ends together.or like a chakri .
  5. Heat up oil in pan ,add mustard ,then cumin seed let them sizzel .add onion ,let it pinkish add zinger garlic pest ,chilli powder ,turmeric powder ,doda masala ,salt mix all it well .add 2 glass water .Let the gravy boil nicely. Drop shengole into boiling gravy.mix it very softly.
  6. Cover and cook on medium flame for about 15 to 20 minute.
  7. Add chopped coriander and serve it with pickle or lemon .

My Tip:

U can made shengole with kulith flore also.
