Ingredients to make Wheat porridge for toddlers and infants(above 8+ months)

  • Broken wheat 6 tsp
  • jaggery 2 tsp
  • ghee 1 tsp
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • water 10 spoon
  • Dry fruit powder 1 tsp
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

How to make Wheat porridge for toddlers and infants(above 8+ months)

  1. Soak broken wheat for 30 min
  2. Now grind it using little water.after strain it and take wheat milk.
  3. In pan boil wheat milk add water and milk.
  4. Stir well.cook for 4 min
  5. Boil jaggery with water .Strain it and pour it into wheat milk.stir well.
  6. Add cardamom powder and dry fruit powder.
  7. Stir well continuously .And add 1 tsp of ghee.
  8. Stir well till it reaches halwa consistency.
  9. Wheat porridge is ready for your little one.

My Tip:

Avoid sugar and salt,dryfruit powder for below 1 yr babies.follow 3 days rule.
