ABOUT Banana toffee- Quick snack RECIPE

Delicious plantain bananas turned to toffees. The quick and easy way of making it keeps your sweet cravings satisfied in a healthy way

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ripe Plantain banana - 2
  2. Honey - 2 tbsp
  3. Ghee - 2 tbsp
  4. White Sesame seeds - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Cut the bananas to pieces along with the peel and steam it for 5-8 mins. ( This will make the bananas tender as nendhram variety of bananas are known for its high starch content).
  2. Remove the skin and keep the banana pieces ready.
  3. Heat ghee in a pan and add the banana pieces and carefully toss without breaking till the colour changes to brown.
  4. Add honey and switch off the flame. Give a final toss.
  5. Garnish with white sesame seeds and serve when it's cooled down to room temperature.
  6. Quick and healthy sweet ready with natural ingredients!
