Ingredients to make Red chilli & Peanut chutney

  • Chutney
  • peanuts 50 grms
  • Dry coconut slices 25 grms
  • Red chillie 6 to 8
  • 1 tbsp whole zeera
  • 3 to 4 garlic pods
  • 1 tbsp tamarind paste
  • salt to taste
  • TEMOERING
  • oil
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1 tsp rai
  • 1 tsp zeera
  • curry leaves few
  • 2 to 3 whole dry red chillies

How to make Red chilli & Peanut chutney

  1. KEEP THE INGRIDENTS READY
  2. TAKE A PAN AND TAWA ROAST THE PEANUTS 50 GRMS
  3. ONCE THEY ARE DONE PUT THEM ON A MUSLIN CLOTH
  4. FOLD THE CLOTH AND RUB
  5. RUB TILL THE SKIN OF THE PEANUTS IS REMOVED
  6. EASY AND NON MESSY WAY TO DESKIN THE PEANUTS.KEEP IT ASIDE
  7. IN THE SAME PAN TOAST DRY COCONUT SLICES 25 GRMS
  8. STIR AND REMOVE QUICKLY.DO NOT BURN
  9. KEEP THIS ALSO ASIDE
  10. IN THE SAME PAN ADD 5 RED CHILLIES
  11. 3 TO 4 GARLIC PODS SKINNED
  12. AND 1 TBSP WHOLE ZEERA
  13. MIX IT TILL NICE AROMA APPEARS.DO NOT BURN
  14. PUT THE ZEERA AND GARLIC IN A MIXER JAR
  15. ADD THE ROASTED COCONUT FLAKES
  16. ADD THE ROASTED PEANUTS
  17. 1 TBSP TAMARIND PASTE.YOU CAN USE FRESH TAMIND SOAKED IN WATER TOO
  18. ADD LITTLE WATER AND GRIND
  19. NOW ADD THE ROASTED RED CHILLIES
  20. AND GRIND TO A SMOOTH PASTE
  21. NOW SEASON THE CHUTNEY. TAKE A PAN AND ADD OIL
  22. ADD 1 TSP RAI
  23. ADD 1 TSP WHOLE ZEERA
  24. FEW CURRY LEAVES
  25. ADD 2 TO 3 DRY RED CHILLIES
  26. NOW ADD 1 VERY FINELY SLICED ONION
  27. MIX
  28. ONCE THE ONION TURN GOLDEN BROWN ADD THE CHUTNEY TO IT
  29. MIX
  30. ADD 1 TSP SALT
