There are days when your kids are just not upto eating any of the favourite breakfast foods and keep saying no. It is at these times you can hide all healthy ingredients and offer them a dessert like breakfast.Banana split which is supposedly a dessert served with a scoop of ice cream can be turned into super healthy option by serving with fresh thick yogurt.

Ingredients to make Banana split ( Breakfast )

  • 1 big ripe but firm banana
  • 1/2 cup thick fresh yogurt
  • 2 tbsp chopped mixed nut slivers like almonds, walnuts
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup mixed fruit like grapes, pomegranates
  • 1 tbsp date syrup ( optional )
  • 2 tbsp toasted muesli

How to make Banana split ( Breakfast )

  1. Just slice a big ripe banana length wise and add a dollop of fresh yogurt.sprinkle some chopped walnuts, almond slivers and add some fresh fruits too.
  2. You can add some date syrup if your kids need some sweetener.
  3. as all the fruits are sweet by themselves and the crunch of the nuts,chunks of toasted muesli gives the feel of having a fruit and nut ice cream.
