Sprouts curry / dalbi is a very famous konkani dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. White Beans Sprouts - 150grams
  2. onion - 1
  3. Tomato - 1
  4. Curry leaves - handful
  5. Salt - as per taste
  6. Cilantro - For garnishing
  7. Water - 2& 1/2cups or as required
  8. Oil - 2tablespoon
  9. FOR MASALA
  10. Coconut - 1/2cup grated
  11. Dry Red chillie - 1
  12. Corrainder seeds - 1tablespoon
  13. Cumin seeds - 1tablespoon
  14. Fennel seeds - 1/2tablespoon
  15. Poppy seeds - 1/4tablespoon
  16. Cloves - 2or 3
  17. Black pepper - 2or 3
  18. Cinamon - Small piece
  19. Turmeric powder -1/2tablepsoon
  20. Red chillie powder - 1tablespoon

Instructions

  1. 1- In a pan add oil add onion and curry leaves saute it well for 5-6mins.
  2. 2- Add tomato mix it well untill the tomato gets soft.
  3. 3- In a pan roast all the masala ingredients after that grind it to a smooth paste add little water.
  4. 4- Put the masala in the saute tomato and onion mix it well.
  5. 5- Than add the sprouts mix well add water and cook for about 25-30mins.
  6. 6- Garnish with some cilantro ready to serve.
