Ingredients to make Egg Potato Curry...Bengali style

  • Boiled eggs...4
  • Boiled potato...5
  • bay leaves...3
  • Black cardamom...1
  • cinnamon stick...1"
  • Chopped onion...1
  • ginger garlic paste...1tspn
  • onion_tomato_green chilli paste...5tspn
  • turmeric powder...1tspn
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder...5tspn
  • cumin powder...1tspn
  • coriander powder...1tspn
  • Garam masala...1tspn
  • coriander leaves...5tspm
  • Fresh cream for garnishing

How to make Egg Potato Curry...Bengali style

  1. Boil eggs & potatoes separately.
  2. Prick the eggs with a fork.
  3. Heat oil, add salt, turmeric powder & red chilli powder.Saute it for a while.Fry eggs in it & take out then.
  4. Fry the boiled potatoes & take out.
  5. Add bay leaf, dry red chilli, black cardamom, cinnamon stick, cloves.Saute it for a while. Add chopped onion & ginger garlic paste.Fry it for few mins.
  6. Add onion_tomato_green chilli paste.Fry it also & make a soft mixture.
  7. 9...Add all spices & 2 cup of hot water.
  8. When bubbles will come add fried eggs & potatoes.Adjust salt & water.Cover it & cook it well.
  9. Add coriander leaves & adjust gravy.Switch off the flame.
  10. Decorate with fresh cream & serve it with rice or parantha.
