Fried chilly paneer with thick sweet ,sour and spicy gravy.

Ingredients to make Chilly paneer with gravy.

  • 200 gm paneer,
  • 1 green capsicum,
  • 1-2 onion
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • black pepper 1 tsp
  • sugar 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • schezwan chutney/sauce 1 tbsp
  • tomato puree 3-4 spoon.

How to make Chilly paneer with gravy.

  1. Heat oil in pan. And side wise cut paneer in square shape. Also mix 1 spoon corn flour in little water. Add little salt and pepper in that.
  2. When oil is hot enough to fry,then dip paneer in the corn flour and fry it till it gets little golden brown.
  3. After this,take same pan and remove the extra oil. Just keep 2 teaspoon oil in it and add onion and capsicum in it. Cook it for 3-5 mins.
  4. Add tomato puree, 1-2 spoon of schezwan chutney ( according to your taste as it is spicy). Stir it and add the corn flour mixture which was prepared at the time of frying. Add some more water to make gravy.
  5. Now add 1/2 teaspoon sugar and paneer, cover the pan ,sim your gas for 5 mins. After that add coriander leaves and serve it hot with rice or naan.

My Tip:

You can use yellow/red capsicum also. And green onions can also be used which gives better taste.
