Ingredients to make Pepper Aachar

  • 500 gms green pepper or any colour
  • 1 tbsp mustard crushed
  • 1 tbsp methi crushed
  • red chilli powder as per spice taste
  • 1/2 tsp hing
  • salt to taste
  • 10 lemons juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 bowl hot oil and then at room temperature

How to make Pepper Aachar

  1. Cut small pieces of pepper and mix the roasted and crushed mustard and methi. Add the red chilli powder as per your taste. (I have added 1/2 bowl). Then pour in 10 lemons juice along with 1 bowl of oil with salt and hing. Mix it properly and keep it in a glass jar.
  2. Use it after 10 hours.
  3. Keep the bottle or jar in the fridge and use it for 15 days.

My Tip:

Note that the oil must always be in the upper area of the pickle jar. If you see less oil add warm oil in it for freshness.
