About egg masala Recipe

A delicious curry made with boiled eggs, to be served with some steamed rice on the side.

Ingredients to make egg masala

  • 3 hard boiled eggs
  • 1 tomato
  • 3 onion
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Few curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp + 1 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste

How to make egg masala

  1. For paste Roughly chopped onion 1 roughly chopped tomato 1 add 1 tbsp oil and microwave for 2 to 3 minutes let it cool then grind it to fine paste keep aside
  2. Heat the pan add oil when oil is hot add cumin when it starts popping add curry leaves finely chopped onion fry for until soft then add salt and ginger garlic paste stir until raw smell evaporates
  3. now add turmeric chilli powder coriander powder cumin powder mix well for few seconds then add onion tomato paste mix well adjust salt and water let it cook for 3 minutes
  4. then add boiled eggs mix well and simmer for 2 minutes switch off the flame tasty egg masala is ready serve with rice chapti naan roti bread or with dosa idli thank you happy cooking
