Aval apam

Ingredients to make Aval apam

  • Boiled rice 1 cup
  • Raw rice 1 cup
  • Aval 1 cup
  • Urud dal 4 table spoon
  • salt to taste

How to make Aval apam

  1. Soak all ingredients for 2 hours
  2. Grind it into smooth batter like idly batter consistency
  3. Add salt
  4. Keep batter for fermentation for 6 hours
  5. Make small dosa and cook it closed with a lid in low flame
  6. Serve hot with chutney
