About Chicken crepes. Recipe

A savoury crepe stuffed with chicken. This s an Italian dish. We can make it veg , using veg instead of chicken.

Ingredients to make Chicken crepes.

  • For the crepe
  • maida or corn flour 1/2 cup
  • egg 1
  • Milk 3/4 cup
  • salt
  • For Filling
  • Minced or boneless chicken pieces 250g
  • onion 1
  • chilli powder 1/2 tsp, according to taste.
  • garlic powder or garlic crushed 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano 1/2 tsp
  • chilli flakes 1/4 tsp
  • salt
  • oil to shallow fry.
  • For paste
  • maida 2 tbsp. Add enough water to make a thick paste.

How to make Chicken crepes.

  1. Blend all ingredients given for crepe in a blender & make a smooth batter.The batter should b thin. So that we get thin crepes add milk accordingly.
  2. In a pan, add 1 tbsp of oil. Fry onion,& garlic.
  3. Then add chicken along with all other ingredients given for filling. Add some water & cook till chicken is well cooked & the dish s very dry.
  4. Heat a big pan. Apply oil. Pour batter to make crepe. Spread it turning the pan. Make a big thin crepe.
  5. When one side s done turn & cook the other side. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  6. U can make crepes while chicken is cooking. Save time.
  7. Take one crepe, put the filling in the middle. Fold from the sides & brush with maida paste.
  8. Fold from the other two sides also using the paste. Repeat the same process with the other crepes.
  9. Heat a pan with enough oil , to shallow fry. Put the folded crepes & fry both sides till crispy.
  10. SERVE HOT.

My Tip:

You can make crepes, big or small according to ur wish. U can make crepes by the time chicken cooks. No need to wait.
