ABOUT Pinwheel samosa RECIPE

A very famous and traditional also samosa snack in different and easy way.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. For dough :
  2. 2 cup maida
  3. 4 tbsp suji
  4. 1/2 tsp ajwain
  5. 1 tsp sugar
  6. 4 tbsp oil
  7. 1 tsp Salt or as required
  8. 1/2 cup water to kneading dough
  9. For Stuffing : 4boiled, cooled and grated potato
  10. 1/2 tsp turmeric
  11. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  12. 2 tsp dry mango powder
  13. 1 tsp coriander seeds crushed
  14. 3tbsp chopped coriander
  15. 1 tsp garam masala
  16. 1 tsp grated ginger
  17. 1/4 cup boiled peas(squeeze water and crushed peas)
  18. Salt as required
  19. Other ingredients:
  20. 4-5 tbsp maida
  21. 1/2 cup water
  22. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl take rava, maida, oil, Salt, ajwain,sugar mix well.
  2. add water and knead tight dough.
  3. Cover with wet cloth and keep aside for 25 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile prepare stuffing,mix all the ingredients of stuffing and mix well.
  5. For maida paste mix maida and water very well, it should be lump free.
  6. Now after 25 minutes take dough and knead again slightly
  7. now divide the dough into 2 equal parts with and roll it with rolling pin like a paratha.use maida for dusting dough.
  8. Now spread stuffing and Roll tight very well.
  9. Cut the roll into half inch sliceand flatten it gently.
  10. Dip samosa in maida paste from both sides.
  11. deep fry into hot oil on slow to medium flame and stir occasionally.
  12. Fry the samosa till it becomes golden and crisp.
  13. Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
