sago & pineapple is heavenly combo pineapple chunks add amazing flavour to this halwa it’s favourite in my home during fast.

Ingredients to make sago pineapple halwa

  • 1 cup sago( sabudana)
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 3 tbsp pineapple crush
  • few pineapple chunks ready tin or you can cook pineapple pieces in sugar for few mins .
  • 5 tbsp warm milk with few saffron strands soaked.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cardamom powder
  • 4/5 tbsp dry fruits

How to make sago pineapple halwa

  1. soak sago for 4 hours in warm water & drain it through strainer.
  2. In a big vessel add sugar & water bring it up to boil up to two string consistency.
  3. Add saffron milk & switch off flame .
  4. Take broad kadai , heat ghee & add sago & stir up to 4 minutes till it becomes transparent or shiny.
  5. switch off the flame.
  6. Now add those cooked sagos to big vessel in which we have made sugar syrup
  7. cook on medium flame , add pineapple crush & pineapple chunks to it.
  8. keep cooking & stirring, add dry fruits and keep cooking .
  9. enjoy hot or cold halwa.
