Ingredients to make pinwheel samosa

  • all purpose flour 1 cup
  • kalonji 1/2 tsp
  • salt
  • refined oil 1 tablespoon
  • potatoes 4 boiled and mashed
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • curry powder 1/2 tsp
  • coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • cumin 1 tsp
  • coriander 1 tsp
  • dry mango powder
  • onion 1 chopped
  • ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp

How to make pinwheel samosa

  1. first make a dough using all purpose flour,refined oil,salt and kalonji and rest it for 15 mins
  2. in the meantime take a Kadhai and add 2 tablespoons of oil
  3. add cumin and coriander and sauté onion
  4. when light brown add ginger garlic paste and sauté till raw smell goes completely
  5. add mashed potatoes,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,curry powder and dry mango powder and mix well
  6. add salt
  7. add coriander leaves and switch off the flame
  8. now make a big chapati from the dough
  9. spread the potato mixture evenly all around
  10. now roll it
  11. cut it in 1/2 inch pieces
  12. make a smooth paste using 1 tablespoons of all purpose flour and half cup water
  13. take one piece and press it gently and deep in this paste and deep fry
  14. do everything like this
  15. deep fry in medium to low flame till crispy and golden
  16. serve hot with chutney or sauce

My Tip:

U can skip the ginger garlic paste in fasting days
