About Cheesy Grilled Paneer Sandwich Recipe

The recipe is indian style paneen sandwich which includes green chutney, spices and herbs.

Cheesy Grilled Paneer Sandwich

Ingredients to make Cheesy Grilled Paneer Sandwich

  • paneer- 200 gms(crumbled)
  • turmeric powder- 1/4th tspn
  • cumin powder- 1/2 tspn
  • coriander powder- 1tspn
  • Kashmiri red chill powder- 1/2tspn
  • Amchur powder(dry mango powder)- 1/2tspn
  • curd(dhai)-2 tbspn
  • salt - as per taste
  • Garam masala- 1/2tspn
  • onion - 1 ( medium sized, thinly sized)
  • Green capsicum- 1 smalll size
  • Green chutney as required
  • butter as required
  • Bread slices- 8-10( whole wheat/ brown bread/ multigrain/ white bread)
  • Processed cheese as required

How to make Cheesy Grilled Paneer Sandwich

  1. For green chutney, take a hand full of coriander leaves, a hand full of mint leaves, 1green chill, a small ball of tamarind, 1inch ginger, salt as required and then grind it into a fine paste.
  2. Crumble 200gms paneer in a bowl, do not crumble it finely.
  3. Now add all the spices , Turmeric powder- 1/4th tspn ,Cumin powder- 1/2 tspn, Coriander powder- 1tspn, Kashmiri red chill powder- 1/2tspn,Amchur powder(dry mango powder)- 1/2tspn, Curd(dhai)-2 tbspn, Garam masala- 1/2tspn, Salt - as per taste. Mix well.
  4. Take bread slices , spread some butter on them.
  5. Spread green chutney on them.
  6. Now place some things onion slices, and sliced green capsicum/ Bell pepper. Now grate some cheese over it.
  7. Place the paneer stuffing and cover with the remaining bread slices on which both butter and green chutney has already been spread.
  8. Now place the sandwiches in preheated sandwich maker. Or I have used a grill pan for grilling the sandwich. Grill till crisp and golden.
  9. Remove , cut it slantly using a knife and grate some more cheese on the top of it and serve with any dip or sauce of your choice.
