About Oats cake Recipe

This is a quick recipe of a healthy and complete;y vegan cake for everyday tea.

Oats cake

Ingredients to make Oats cake

  • Oats 1 cup
  • raisins handful
  • jaggery 2 medium sized cubes
  • coconut Milk 1 Cup
  • baking soda 1 Tsp
  • Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • banana for decoration
  • Compund chocolate for ganache

How to make Oats cake

  1. Grind oats to fine powder.
  2. Grind raisins, jaggery to fine paste, add coconut milk to form a paste
  3. Mix the oats, the paste, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla essence and coconut milk
  4. Slice the banana and place it on top of the batter
  5. Bake it for 30 min on low flame on gas top.
  6. Make a ganache of chocolate. I used compound chocolate with coconut milk. Spread it on top of the cake

My Tip:

I made the cake on gas top. I preheated the prestige kadai on high flame for 5 min and then baked the cake on low for 30
