Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 5 tbsp samak flour
  2. 1/2 cup yogurt
  3. 8 tbsp oil
  4. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  5. A pinch of black pepper
  6. 8 boiled baby potatoes
  7. 200 gms paneer cubes
  8. salt to taste
  9. 1/2 cup water


  1. Take 1/2 cup fresh curd in a mixing bowl. Whisk it till smooth. Keep aside. Boil the baby potatoes, peel and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in wok, add samak flour. Cook for 2 minutes, then add water, red chilli powder, salt, black pepper and then add curd. Mix well.
  3. Whisk the whole mixture very well. There should be no lumps. Add boiled baby potatoes and paneer cubes.
  4. Stir well and allow the kadhi to simmer. Stir on occasions. The kadhi will thicken. Add water to get the desired consistency.
  5. Serve with samak dosa, plain sama rice or rajgira paratha, kuttu ka parathas or rajgira pooris.
