About Curry leaves chicken Recipe

It's a very unique recipe. Process is very easy and with basic ingredients one can prepare the delicious recipe.

Ingredients to make Curry leaves chicken

  • chicken pieces 500gm
  • curry leaves 1bunch
  • onion 1big
  • coriander powder 1tsp
  • cumin powder 1tsp
  • red chilli powder 1tsp
  • turmeric 1/2tsp
  • coriander leaves 3tbsp
  • Green chilli 3
  • bay leaf 1-2
  • ginger garlic paste 2tbsp
  • oil 2tsp
  • ghee 1tsp(optional)
  • salt

How to make Curry leaves chicken

  1. Clean and wash the curry leaves. Divide into two parts.
  2. Take one part into the blender, add coriander leaves and 2green chillies.
  3. Make a thick paste by adding 1-2tbsp water. Keep aside.
  4. Marinate chicken with 1tsp ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and the curry leaves paste.
  5. Marinate minimum 30mins.
  6. If you have time marinate for 2-3 hours.
  7. Heat 1tbsp oil in a nonstick pan.
  8. Add bay leaves, green chilli, few curry leaves.
  9. Add chopped onion.
  10. When onion becomes light pink add the ginger garlic paste and saute till raw aroma goes.
  11. Then add the marinated chicken pieces and cook till all the masalas dry.
  12. It will take 10-12mins.
  13. Meanwhile heat another pan, add 1tsp ghee.
  14. Then add the remaining curry leaves and fry on a very low flame till crispy.
  15. Switch off.
  16. When curry leaves become cool, crush the leaves with fingers and add to the chicken.
  17. Mix well and serve.

My Tip:

You can use more green chillies and skip red chilli powder.
