Ingredients to make Dum biryani ... cuisine style

  • 1 kg basmati rice( half boiled)
  • 100 gms panner cubes
  • 1 bering leaf ( lavang 3,ilachi 3, cinnamon 1 peices)
  • 1 ginger garlic paste
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 cup onion slices
  • 1 cup tomato chopped
  • 1/4 kg potatoes diced
  • 1/4 kg carrot diced
  • 100gms green peas
  • 5 chili slices
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Hlaf tsp haldi
  • 1 tsp biryani masala powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 lemon make juice
  • 1 cup fried onions
  • 1 bunch chopped mint,coriander

How to make Dum biryani ... cuisine style

  1. Heat in a pan put butter,oil add hole gram masala Fri it's splitting
  2. Add chili slices,onions keep Fri til get gold colour add ginger garlic paste Fri it gets nice aroma
  3. Add half boiled potatoes, carrot,green peas Fri as gently
  4. Add tomatoes cook as softening of tomatoes then add salt,chili powder,haldi, biryani masala,garam masala
  5. In this mixture add curd and lemon juice,panner peices mix well turn of keep a side
  6. Take big mouth thick container put ghee on base add coriander,mint leaves, masala curry then keep half boiled rice
  7. Again do the same like layers curry and rice
  8. Finally add ghee fried onions mint leaves close lid cook on medium flame 20 min dum it
  9. Totals rice curry masala flavour binds to rice's it's good texture nice taste

My Tip:

Panner is optional it can replace baby corns or mushroom
