Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chicken with bones 300 gms.
  2. Marinade :
  3. 4-5 flakes garlic paste
  4. 1" size ginger paste
  5. 7-8 dry red chillies boiled and paste
  6. 4 tbsp yogurt
  7. For gravy :
  8. 1 large onion, chopped finely
  9. 5-6 flakes garlic, finely chopped
  10. 3-4 Dry red chillies
  11. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  12. Coriander powder 2 tsp
  13. Salt 2 tsp
  14. Refine oil 5 tbsp


  1. Marinate the chicken pieces with marinade ingredients and keep aside for 1 hour.
  2. Dry roast the red chillies and half crush them.
  3. Now heat oil in a kadai and add green cardamoms, cloves and cinnamon stick.
  4. Then add chopped onion and garlic's , stir fry till golden brown.
  5. Add marinated chicken, cumin powder, coriander powder, crushed chillies and salt. Lower the heat, cover and cook till the chicken is tender and oil separates.
  6. Add little amount of hot water if required.
  7. Serve hot with rice or roti's.
