Phirni is a very popular Indian dessert. Here I gave it a healthy twist by adding mango puree. Very easy to make and tastes delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Sooji 1/2cup
  2. Milk 1cup
  3. Ripe Mango 1 pureed
  4. Condensed milk 1/2cup
  5. Ghee 1tsp
  6. Almond powder 1tsp
  7. Saffron strands few
  8. Cardamom powder 1/2tsp
  9. Few mango pieces for garnishing


  1. Heat ghee and roast the sooji till nice aroma comes and it becomes light brown.
  2. Then add milk and stir continuously.
  3. When milk dries then add condensed milk and almond powder.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add mango puree, cardamom powder and saffron(soaked with lukewarm milk).
  6. Mix well till all the ingredients incorporate with each other well.
  7. Switch off.
  8. Garnish with chopped dryfruits and chopped mango pieces.
