ABOUT Onion Mango Chutney RECIPE

This is a quick recipe of a delicious chutney made with onion and mangoes that can be served with paratha or dosa.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 raw mangoes
  2. 2 onion cut into slices
  3. 1/2 tspn hing
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1 dry red chilli
  6. 1/2 tspn red chilli powder

Instructions

  1. Peel and chopp the raw mangoes.
  2. Now put it in a mixing jar.
  3. Add salt, red chilli powder, hing and dry red chilli.
  4. Make a paste.
  5. Add little bit water if needed according to the consistency.
  6. The paste should be thick not thin.
  7. Now cut the onion into slices.
  8. Put the paste into the bowl.
  9. Add onion slices into it.
  10. Mix it very well.
  11. So that paste is coated on the onions very well.
  12. Garnish it with few chopped corriander leaves if you want.
  13. Now it ready to eat this tangy and spicy onion mango chutney with chapati or dal rice.
