authentic sweet dish with ground rice ,condensed milk and ripe mango

Ingredients to make phirni

  • soaked rice roughly grond 2 spoons
  • 1 l milk condensed to 1/2
  • Pulp of 2 mangoes
  • sugar to taste
  • 2 cardamom for garnishing

How to make phirni

  1. reduce milk to half , by simmering it in a sauce pan, on a low flame.
  2. Grind the washed rice and it to the milk. Cook for sometime by stirring it.
  3. add sugar and cardamom, mango pulp
  4. cook till the milk thickens and the rice is cooked.
  5. serve chilled or hot

My Tip:

Rice should not be finely ground.
