Punjabi Egg Curry(Dhaba Style)

Ingredients to make Punjabi Egg Curry(Dhaba Style)

  • eggs-6
  • onion-4
  • tomato-2-3
  • coriander leaves
  • cumin seeds -1tbsp
  • cloves-4
  • Black cardamom -1
  • Green cardamom -4
  • cinnamon -1
  • bay leaf -2
  • ginger-Garlic-green chilli paste -2tbsp
  • coriander Powder -2tbsp
  • cumin Powder -1tbsp
  • turmeric Powder -1tbsp
  • Black pepper Powder -1tbsp
  • Kashmiri chilli Powder -2tbsp
  • Kasoori methi -1tbsp
  • Garam masala -1tbsp
  • gram flour -2-3tbsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Cooking oil

How to make Punjabi Egg Curry(Dhaba Style)

  1. First roast the gram flour for 1 min & keep it aside. Boil the eggs for 10-15 minutes. Then cool it, peel it & prick it with a tooth pick, add 1/2 tbsp turmeric and Kashmiri Chilli Powder, salt to it and mix it well on the eggs and then fry the eggs.
  2. For gravy, take a pan, add cooking oil into it, heat it and then add cinnamon, black and green cardamom, bay leaf, cumin seeds.
  3. Then further add chopped onions to it and fry it and then add ginger-garlic-chilli paste to it, fry it and then add all the dry masalas except garam masala & salt to it. Stir it well and then add tomato puree & coriander leaves to it.
  4. Cook all very well & then add roasted gram flour, 1-2cups of water, eggs, kasoori methi, garam masala powder to it. Give it a boil and keep it on medium flame for 1 min and then switch off the flame.
  5. Take it out and garnish it with some coriander leaves .
