Ingredients to make Savoury semolina vegetable cakes

  • 1 cup suji
  • 1 tbsp besan
  • For paste---
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 inch ginger piece
  • 2 tbsp boiled peas
  • 7-8 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1/2 cup chop onion
  • 1/2 cup chop capsicum
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • salt as per taste
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • oil for greaseing mould
  • butter for brush cakes

How to make Savoury semolina vegetable cakes

  1. TAKE SUJI IN A BOWL
  2. ADD BESAN AND 1/2 CUP WATER
  3. MIX THEM
  4. ADD 1/2 CUP CURD AND MIX ALL OF THEM.REMOVE LUMPS LEAVE IT FOR 10 MIN.
  5. FOR PASTE ADD CHILLI,GINGER,GARLIC AND PEAS AND MAKE PASTE IN MIXI
  6. TAKE SUJI MIX ADD CARROT
  7. CAPSICUM AND ONION
  8. ADD GRINDED PASTE
  9. THEN MIX ALL OF THEM
  10. NOW ADD BAKING POWDER,BAKING SODA AND SALT
  11. IF BATTER IS VERY THICK ADD LITTLE WATER
  12. TAKE MOULD AND GREASE IT AND POUR BATTER IN MOULDS
  13. BAKE THEM AT 180 DEGREE FOR 25 MIN.
  14. OUR SAVOURY VEGETABLE SEMOLINA CAKES ARE READY
  15. BUTTER THEM AND SPRINKLE FLAKES
  16. SERVE HOT WITH SAUCE
