Dark Chocolate Nutty Pie

Ingredients to make Dark Chocolate Nutty Pie

  • 150g plain flour
  • 100g cold butter cubed
  • Breadcrumbs from 5 bread slices
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped and roasted almonds
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 300g dark chocolate
  • 200 ml cream

How to make Dark Chocolate Nutty Pie

  1. IN A BOWL ADD BUTTER, BREADCRUMBS, FLOUR AND SUGAR
  2. MIX ALL INGREDIENTS AND KNEAD
  3. WRAP DOUGH IN PLASTIC AND CHILL FOR 30 MINUTES
  4. DUST SURFACE WITH FLOUR, PLACE DOUGH ON SURFACE
  5. ROLL OUT LIKE CHAPATI
  6. PLACE ROLLED DOUGH IN GREASED PAN, TRIM EXCESS EDGES
  7. PICK WITH FORK AND FREEZE FOR 10 MINUTES
  8. BAKE FOR 15-18 MINUTES ON 180 DEG
  9. ALLOW BAKED SHELL TO COOL
  10. MIX ALMONDS, PEANUTS AND RAISINS (OPTIONAL) IN A BOWL
  11. ADD THE NUTS MIX TO THE BAKED SHELL
  12. LEVEL THE NUTS
  13. HEAT THE CREAM
  14. POUR THE CREAM ON DARK CHOCOLATE PIECES ALLOW TO REST FOR 5 MINUTES
  15. MIX THE CHOCOLATE MIXTURE WELL AND ALLOW TO COOL SLIGHTLY
  16. POUR THE CHOCOLATE ON NUTS
  17. LEVEL THE CHOCOLATE AND REFRIGERATE FOR 2 HOURS
  18. GARNISH WITH ALMONDS AND CHOCOLATE CURLS, SERVE
