A Swiss roll/ jelly roll /cream roll is a type of sponge cake roll filled with whipped cream, jam or icing. This recipe is fail proof and no cracks what so ever. I am really satisfied with the outcome and moreover it's so simple and easy to make.
Ingredients to make Swiss Roll /Jelly Roll / Jam Roll
- 1/2 cup : Self rising (or substitute it with 1/2 cup plain sifted with 1 tsp of baking powder)
- 1/2 cup : powdered , divided
- 3 large : at room temperature with whites and yolks separated
- 2 tbsp : melted
- 1 tsp : vanilla essence
