About ChibaDhokli Recipe

Very popular, Kachh special-Chiba Dhokli! Gets ready just in 10 minutes. Chiba Dhokli is usually served as breakfast or in evening snacks.


Ingredients to make ChibaDhokli

  • chana daal flour (1cup),
  • sugar powder(2tsp),
  • chopped Green chilli) 1tsp)
  • kasturi methi(2tsp),
  • Asafeotida) 1/2tsp),
  • turmeric powder(pinch),
  • salt(as per taste),
  • water(as required)
  • °Tadka: oil(2tsp),
  • mustered seeds(2tsp),
  • til(1tsp)
  • Garnishing: Aachar methi Masala,
  • fresh grated coconut,
  • coriander leaves.

How to make ChibaDhokli

  1. Take a bowl, add chana daal flour, sugar powder, turmeric powder, salt, water, Asafeotid, kasturi methi and make a medium batter.
  2. Take a round dish, Grease it with a oil and apply batter but leave wide border.
  3. Boil water in a Kadhai. Once water is boiled, take a dish of batter and keep it upside down on a Kadhai.
  4. Cook it for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Take out the dish and let it be cool, the make uneven slices of it.
  6. °Tadka- take a oil In pan add mustered seeds, til and make a tadka
  7. ~Take Chiba Dhokli in a serving plate, pour tadka over it, sprinkle some Aachar Masala, fresh grated coconut, coriander leaves and Garnishing is done!
