Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 BOWL OF CHOPPED BANANA FLOWER (MOCHA)
  2. 1 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  3. 1 TSP CUMIN POWDER
  4. 1 TSP CORIANDER POWDER
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1 tbsp sugar
  7. 2 TBSP LENTIL/PULSE (MOTOR DAL) PASTE
  8. 5 TBSP GRATED COCONUT
  9. 1 BANANA LEAF CUT INTO SMAL PIECES to make the parcel
  10. 1 TBSP GREEN CHILLI PASTE
  11. 2 TBSP GHEE
  12. 3 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. BOIL THE MOCHA WITH SALT AND TURMERIC POWDER.
  2. MIX ALL THE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER (EXCEPT THE BANANA LEAF).
  3. ROAST THE BANANA LEAF IN MICROWAVE OR GAS OVEN A LITTLE.
  4. MAKE A SHAPE WITH THE MIXTURE AND PUT IT INTO THE BANANA LEAVES. TIE THE LEAVES WELL.
  5. NOW HEAT UP OIL IN A PAN. FRY THE BANANA LEAVES PARCEL WELL UNTIL IT BECOMES BLACKISH.
  6. SERVE IT WITH STEAMED RICE.
