This Crumble bar is made out from scratch. Fresh strawberries,castir sugar,lemon juice and gelatin is used to make tangy and sweet jelly. Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. For Fresh Strawberry Jelly
  2. fresh strawberries 200 grams
  3. castor sugar 100 grams
  4. lemon juice ( 1/2 lemon)
  5. gelatin 10 grams
  6. For Shortbread bar
  7. all purpose flour 140 grams
  8. corn flour 10 grams
  9. salt 2 grams
  10. soft butter 110 grams
  11. Castor sugar 35 grams
  12. vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  13. almonds one fistful

Instructions

  1. INGREDIENTS FOR HOME MADE JELLY USED FOR FRESH STRAWBERRY AND NUT CRUMBLE.
  2. CUT STRAWBERRIES INTO PIECES.
  3. TAKE A PAN AND ADD CASTOR SUGAR ON A MEDIUM HEAT.
  4. ADD STRAWBERRIES TO SUGAR.
  5. MIX GENTLY TILL SUGAR COATS STRAWBERRIES.
  6. IN FEW MINUTES SUGAR AND STRAWBERRIES WILL COMBINE WELL .
  7. LET IT BOIL FOR FEW MINUTES.
  8. ADD WATER TO GELATIN AND LET IT SIT ASIDE.
  9. WHEN THE STRAWBERRY JELLY MIXTURE REDUCES TO HALF , SQUEEZE LEMON TO IT.
  10. MIX IT GENTLY.
  11. ADD DISSOLVED GELATIN TO THE STRAWBERRY MIXTURE AND STIR CONTINUOUSLY.
  12. LET IT BOIL TILL THE MIXTURE THICKENS.
  13. SWITCH OFF THE FLAME WHEN THE JELLY ATTAINS THIS CONSISTENCY.LET IT COOL.
  14. INGREDIENTS FOR THE SHORT BREAD CRUST.
  15. ADD SUGAR AND BUTTER INTO A CLEAN BOWL.
  16. CREAM BUTTER,SUGAR TILL PALE.
  17. SIFT ALL DRY INGREDIENTS AND ADD TO THE CREAM MIXTURE.
  18. MIX WITH THE ELETRIC BEATER.
  19. MIX IT TILL CRUMBLE MIXTURE FORMS.
  20. ADD VANILLA EXTRACT TO THE SHORTBREAD CRUST IN A BIG BOWL.
  21. MIX WELL TILL IT COMBINES THOROUGHLY.
  22. SAVE SOME SHORTBREAD DOUGH IN A SEPARATE BOWL.
  23. LINE A PARCHMENT PAPER IN A BAKING TRAY AND ADD THE SHORT BREAD DOUGH.
  24. FLATTEN IT EVENLY USING FINGERS.
  25. LEVEL THE CORNERS WELL AND PRESS WITH THE PALM .
  26. ADD MORE FLOUR TO THE SAVED SHORT BREAD DOUGH AND MIX WELL.
  27. USING FINGERS MIX IT TO GET A CRUMBLY TEXTURE.
  28. FRESH STRAWBERRY JAM IS READY TO SPREAD ON SHORTBREAD DOUGH.
  29. SPOON IN JAM .
  30. SPREAD FRESH STRAWBERRY JAM (THICK LAYER) EVENLY OVER THE SHORT BREAD CRUST.
  31. USING FINGERS PRESS THE SAVED CRUMBLE DOUGH AND COVER THE JAM.
  32. THROW IN CHOPPED ALMONDS.
  33. BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 350 DEGREE FAHRENHEIT UNTIL THE TOP IS WELL BAKED
  34. THE FRESH STRAWBERRY AND NUT CRUMBLE BAR IS READY.
  35. LET IT COMPLETELY COOL BEFORE SLICING
