Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. A cup of small onions
  2. 1 TBSP coconut OIL
  3. MUSTARD SEEDS - 1 TSP
  4. CURRY LEAVES - 10
  5. 1 tomato
  6. Half cup button mushroom
  7. 2 TBSP chilli POWDER
  8. 1 TSP salt
  9. A PINCH turmeric
  10. 1 TBSP coriander POWDER
  11. 2 Dry red chillies
  12. 2 garlic pods
  13. A small ginger
  14. salt
  15. cloves - 1
  16. STAR ANISE - 1
  17. mace BLADE - 1

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1 TBSP COCONUT OIL, ADD MUSTARD , ADD CHOPPED SMALL ONIONS, CURRY LEAVES AND TOMATOES.
  2. ADD 2TBSP CHILLI POWDER, 1 TSP SALT, A PINCH TURMERIC AND 1 TBSP CORIANDER POWDER.
  3. ALLOW THEM TO COOK FOR 2 MINS AND CLOSE THE LID.
  4. GRIND HALF A ONION,2 GARLIC PODS,SMALL SIZE GINGER,AND A MIX OF 1STAR ANISE, 1 MACE, FEW CLOVES
  5. ADD THE GROUND PASTE INTO THE PAN. I HAVE ADDED FEW DRY RED CHILLIES AS WELL WHILE GRINDING.
  6. WASH AND SLICE THE MUSHROOMS INTO HALVES AND ADD INTO THE PAN.
  7. CHECK THE SALT AND ALLOW TO COOK FOR 15 MINS AND CLOSE THE LID.
  8. ADD SOME FRESH CORIANDER LEAVES AND SWITCH OFF THE FLAME.
  9. THIS CURRY IS SUITABLE FOR ROTIS , DOSAS AND AS WELL FOR IDLIS.
