  11. 3 tbsp coriander seeds
  12. 2 tbsp channa dal
  13. 1 tbsp urad dal
  14. 1 tsp jeera
  15. 1 tsp pepper
  16. 1/2 tsp methi
  17. 4 red chillies
  18. 3 byadgi chillies
  19. 1/4 cup dessicated coconut
  20. To temper
  21. oil
  22. mustard
  23. jeera
  24. methi
  25. cashews
  26. Curry leaves
  27. To pressure cook
  28. 1/2 cup tuvr dal
  29. 2 tomatoes
  30. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  31. For Sambar
  32. tamarind extract
  33. 2 green chillies
  34. turmeric powder
  35. salt

Instructions

  1. SOAK LEMON SIZE TAMARIND AND GET EXTRACT
  2. PRESSURE COOK 1/2 CUP TUVR DAL, 2 TOMATOES WITH 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  3. COOK FOR 5 WHISTLES. ALLOW PRESSURE TO RELEASE NATURALLY
  4. DAL READY
  5. MASH DAL. ADD WATER
  6. ADD 2 TBSP CHANNA DAL
  7. ADD 3 TBSP CORIANDER SEEDS
  8. ADD 1 TBSP URAD DAL
  9. ADD 1 TSP JEERA
  10. ADD 1 TSP BLACK PEPPER
  11. ADD 1/2 TSP METHI
  12. ADD 1 TSP OIL
  13. SAUTE TILL DAL COLOR CHANGES TO GOLDEN BROWN
  14. ADD 1/4 CUP COCONUT. SAUTE
  15. ADD 4 GUNTUR CHILLIES
  16. ADD 3 BYADGI CHILLIES
  17. SAUTE AND COOL THE MIXTURE
  18. ADD COOLED MIXTURE TO BLENDER. ADD PINCH OF HING
  19. MAKE A FINE POWDER. SAMBAR POWDER READY
  20. CUT VEGETABLE
  21. HEAT 3 TBSP OIL. ADD 8-10 SHALLOTS
  22. ADD 1 SLICED ONION
  23. SAUTE TILL ONION TURNS TRANSLUCENT
  24. ADD CHOPPED CARROT, POTATO, DRUMSTICKS, BEANS
  25. SAUTE
  26. ADD BRINJAL
  27. ADD CAPSICUM
  28. SAUTE
  29. ADD REQUIRED SALT
  30. MIX
  31. CLOSE WITH A LID AND COOK VEGETABLES
  32. WHEN THE VEGETABLES ARE COOKED, ADD TAMARIND EXTRACT
  33. ADD 2 GREEN CHILLIES
  34. ADD SAMBAR POWDER. MIX WELL. BOIL THE MIXTURE FOR 5-10 MINUTES
  35. WHEN THE MIXTURE BOILS, ADD DAL
  36. MIX WELL. BOIL FOR 5-10 MINUTES AND TURN OFF FLAME
  37. GARNISH WITH CORIANDER LEAVES
  38. ADD SEASONING
